Description: Focus items make pets "better". If you equip a focus item while summoning a pet, the pet will generally be an improved version of itself, often having better defensive and offensive stats. They have a focus effect on them denoting they are focus items. (note that focus items do not "glow" when the pet is summoned).

There are 4 Minor Focus items: Focus level 4 to 49 pets
These four focus items are obtainable via quest from the gnome magician Vira within the Temple of Solusek Ro located off of the Lavastorm Mountains zone. You must have at least indifferent faction standing to quest the minor focus items. Read the Guide for more specific information
*from level 34 to 49 the pets will appear visibly larger when focused

Torch of Alna (Minion of Fire)

Quest Items: Fire Drake Scale, Fire Emerald, Fire Giant toes, and a Torch from the Magicians in Najena or Alligators outside Cazic Thule
Effect: Increases the Fire pet's overall characteristics to match an unfocused Air, including HP.

Shovel of Ponz (Minion of Earth)

Quest Items: Gargoyle Eye, Ruby, Hill Giant toes, and a Shovel from the Magicians in Najena or Alligators outside Cazic Thule
Effect: Increases the Earth pet's overall characteristics. However it does not increase HP.

Broom of Trilon (Minion of Air)

Quest Items: Griffon Feather, Star Ruby, Cyclops toes, and a Broom from the Magicians in Najena or Alligators outside Cazic Thule
Effect: Increases the Air pet's overall characteristics to match an unfocused Water, including HP.

Stein of Ulissa (Minion of Water)

Quest Items: Mermaid Scale, Sapphire, Ice Giant toes, and a Stein from the Magicians in Najena or Alligators outside Cazic Thule
Effect: Increases the Water pet's overall characteristics to match an unfocused Earth, including HP.

There are 4 Major focus items: Focus level 49 to 60 pets.
They all increase their corresponding pet's level by 1 and increases the pet's HP, and increases the melee attack by 2.

The first three are rare drops from the listed MOBs.

Staff of Elemental Mastery: Water (Servant of Water): Phinigel Autropos in Kedge Keep

Staff of Elemental Mastery: Earth (Servant of Earth): Magi P'Tasa and male Forsaken Revenants in Plane of Hate

Staff of Elemental Mastery: Fire (Servant of Fire): Magi P'Tasa and Mistress of Scorn in Plane of Hate.

The Staff of Elemental Mastery: Air (Servant of Air) is a quest reward in the Plane of Sky. This quest uses the Crown of Elemental Mastery which is also used to complete the Magician Epic quest and obtained on Isle 7 in the Plane of Sky. Due to the rarity of the item it is believed only one of these staffs was created prior to the introduction of the Epic Quest.

There are seven Planar Focus items. Note that all Planar Focus items now come with a suit of Phantom Plate pre-equipped upon summoning.

Diamond Prism of Companionship (Summoner's Boon) - Bought in the North Ro Wayfarer's camp for 760 adventure points. Focuses 59 thru 65 pets, including epic. This is a first magnitude planar pet focus, and provides a first magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Gloves of Dark Summoning (Minion of Darkness) - Dropped by Thall Va Kelun in Vex Thal. Focuses 59 thru 65 pets, including epic. This is a second magnitude planar pet focus, and provides a second magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Symbol of Ancient Summoning (Minion of Eternity) - Dropped by Bertoxxulous in the Plane of Time. Focuses 59 thru 65 pets. This is a third magnitude planar pet focus, and provides a third magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Flamestone of the Arcane (Minion of Eternity) - Dropped in the Ikkinz raid Chamber of Transcendence off the Guardians of Trascendence, and Vrex Xalkak Nixki. Focuses 59 thru 65 pets. This is a third magnitude planar pet focus, and provides a third magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Ruby Ring of Embellishment (Minion of Eternity) - Dropped in Yxxta off the Primal Insect. Focuses 59 thru 65 pets. This is a third magnitude planar pet focus, and provides a third magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Cherished Companion Shard (Ritual Summoning) - Dropped in the Rujarkian Hills Time-level raid. Focuses 61 thru 65 pets. This is a fourth magnitude planar pet focus, and provides a fourth magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Jennu's Sandals of Creation (Ritual Summoning) - GoD Muramite boot armor for Magicians, drops in Qvic and Inktu`ta. Focuses 61 thru 65 pets. This is a fourth magnitude planar focuses, and provides a fourth magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.

Gemstone of Dark Flame (Minion of Discord) - Dropped in Txevu off Zum'Muram Tkarish Zyk. Focuses 61 thru 65 pets. This is a fifth magnitude planar focus, and provides a fifth magnitude increase in level, maximum damage, midigation, and HP.
